“Mit gemischten Eindrücken gestartet und mit schönen Erinnerungen abgereist.”
We booked our stay very spontaneously and overlooked some details. Even though our first impression did not fully meet our expectations, after six nights we look back on a nice time. The hotel is set in a beautiful area with direct access to a picturesque cove. The proximity to the sea and the location were especially pleasing. It is important to note that the cove is publicly accessible and therefore does not belong to the hotel’s adults‑only concept. A heartfelt thank you goes to Sebastián, who took our feedback seriously and personally worked to make our stay even more enjoyable. It was nice to see that our concerns were not only heard but also taken on with great enthusiasm. We also enjoyed the dinner at the Trattoria very much. The food was excellent and the evening was a pleasant memory. Breakfast at Marea was also a wonderful addition to our stay. In the end, it’s often the people who make the difference. A special thank you also goes to the housekeeping team, who ensured a clean and well‑maintained room and fresh drinking water every day. We really appreciated this attention. And let’s not forget the cats we met during our stay, who also brought a smile to our faces as animal lovers. We hope they continue to be well taken care of. The layout of the hotel into regular areas and the so‑called “My Favorite Club” was less convincing. The partially exclusive areas created a noticeable separation between guests, which somewhat detracted from the otherwise beautiful hotel grounds. The hotel’s own beach area also seemed somewhat carelessly designed and uninviting. The few loungers there were exclusively reserved for “My Favorite Club” guests and felt somewhat out of place in that setting. Here we would have preferred a more appealing beach area open to all hotel guests. Another criticism was the situation around the pool loungers. Although it was explicitly stated that reserving loungers is not tolerated, many places were already occupied with towels early in the morning and remained unused into the afternoon. Even in the off‑season, the number of available loungers seemed insufficient. This caused unnecessary stress – after all, you want to relax on vacation and not have to worry in the morning about finding a free spot. Additionally, the more comfortable sunbeds at the pool could only be booked for an extra fee, which was somewhat disappointing given the limited number of free loungers. The service at the buffet restaurant in Building 1 also did not meet our expectations upon arrival. The staff seemed unfriendly and inattentive, making us feel more like a disturbance than welcome guests. Finally, the actual condition did not entirely match the impression conveyed by the booking photos.
