The diesel generator was out for almost the entire night and again in the morning, and the lift was also non‑functional.
The location, food, and room service were all good.
“Don’t believe with ratings, these are absolutely misleading.”
The food was fresh, but the serving staff clearly didn't know how to handle nine people; we, seven of us plus two others, were left in the restaurant for 30‑45 minutes. When we arrived late at night there was very loud music that frightened my family. At check‑in the front desk manager kept asking for an Aadhar card for identity, even though we told him we were NRIs and could submit a passport. No towel was given at check‑in; only one old towel was in the room. In the morning at 7.00 am we were told to provide a towel, and that housekeeping would come after 8.30 to bring one. After 30 minutes they arrived with four old, rubbish towels that were worn out and torn; the worst part was when I complained at checkout, the Operations Manager, Mr Tiwari, simply said these towels didn’t belong to the hotel, but after I showed him photos he admitted they were rejected. They charged 800 INR for an extra bed, which was not great either because the bedsheet was not cleaned. In short, despite a confirmed booking the room was ready only after 30 minutes at midnight in reception.
The breakfast each day was the same; a little more variety would help.
“Nicel place”
The location, room layout, and cleanliness were great, but the surroundings outside the compound were left dirty by the hotel.
