The host was exceptionally friendly and helped us a lot during our layover. The breakfast was very plentiful and tasty. The location right at the foot of the castle is very idyllic.

Breakfast was amazing – plenty and tasty. The apartment sits in a quiet spot even though a street runs close by. The bathroom was spotless but the taps and shower head look old and need updating.

I had heard the place was old, but the room was surprisingly new and clean, with a quirky old‑style feel like a family summer house. The in‑room water dispenser and shower worked fine, no dampness. Veronica at reception was super friendly. Breakfast was good, especially the homemade apple juice. It’s close to the bus stop that takes you to the cable cars and to Salzburg in about ten minutes on foot, so you don’t need a car.

Being at the medieval festival, the spot was spot on – just a few minutes on foot to our booth. We had to eat breakfast in the main building, but that didn’t bother us. The balcony view was amazing, with the castle right outside the door – what more could you want? Parking was fine. Breakfast was beautifully presented. The downside was the building itself feels dated, and the bathroom is so tight that only one person can get in and out.

The front desk lady was friendly and helpful, but the manager was rude. We were a group staying in an old house and discovered the meeting room was off‑limits – no plates or spoons at all. When I asked for utensils, the boss said we should have booked apartments instead. For the price we paid, it fell short of what we expected, so I don’t recommend it.
