The hotel sits in a beautiful spot, but many corners were cut. There was no AC, which I only discovered after I booked; I expected AC for $100 USD a night. Hot water was also missing—though it was supposed to be there. A wall unit had an old “temporarily out of order” sign. I asked my girlfriend to go up and have someone from town bring a replacement, which took about 30 minutes to change out. They claimed undersized wiring to the unit, but I checked the unit myself and found that the circuit breaker inside the unit would trip as soon as power was supplied with zero load. It’s bad. The office said it was a fire hazard or that they were lying and just didn’t want to replace it. They gave my girlfriend a bucket and a dipper and told her to heat water in the kettle. What a joke. There are plenty of nice places to stay up in the mountains; I would definitely never stay here again.
