Getting a price quote was a hassle; golfers asked for a discount but nobody could give us one. The staff didn't know about the discount and even when we paid we still got no info about it. They had to ask the director, who wasn't there. We paid the regular price! Next time we'll book a different hotel.

For a family stay, the hotel kindly offered us rooms higher than our booking. We ended up with very spacious, nicely renovated, and quiet rooms. We enjoyed a delicious game of chasse at dinner and the breakfast was perfect. A great spot, a historic hotel, to visit this beautiful region of the Entlebuch.

Nice location, adequate parking, good breakfast, large room. Dinner wasn’t available until 8.30 pm because of an event. There should be enough effort to accommodate guests who want to eat earlier.

The kitchen and wine cellar quality, the historic building with many old photos in the stairwell, the orchard under chestnut trees, and plenty of parking were all excellent. A self‑serve coffee machine in the breakfast room would be very helpful.
