Even when trouble arose, the staff handled everything wonderfully. The location is superb—just a short walk to the main building of Dogo Onsen. Fans of British‑style décor will enjoy it. The bath is spacious, and there’s a sauna. Highly recommended.

The hotel exudes a genuine 19th‑century English charm, and the onsen is lovely. The staff were not very comfortable with English.

The lobby, breakfast room, and even the rooms are pleasant. The hotel staff spoke very little English.

The staff were very kind. The slope from Dogo Onsen was long, making it tough to move a suitcase.

館内や部屋全体クラシカルな落ち着いた格調高い雰囲気の中滞在できました 大浴場の温泉もサウナ含めとても良かったです スタッフのホスピタリティーも素晴らしくそんなに高くないのに超高級ホテルに宿泊してる感じがしました 次回道後温泉に行った際にも利用したいと思います. カーテンのフックが１つはずれていたことと 窓が少し汚れていたのが残念でした
