This hidden homestay is friendly and offers a great mountain view, a squirrel darting along the wires and even monkeys in nearby trees. The owners are cheerful and serve a hearty breakfast with Sri Lankan tea. The bed is comfortable, the shower hot, and overall it’s a pleasant place about a 20‑minute walk from Ella town. Once I found the shortcut, the walk got much quicker than when I first explored.

A wonderful spot in Ella! The main thing here is the breathtaking view of the mountains and valley. It’s especially nice to start the day with breakfast on the terrace, enjoying nature and fresh air. In the evening you can admire amazing sunsets—pure pleasure. The atmosphere is very calm and cozy, you just want to sit on the terrace, drink tea and look at the mountains. Thanks to the hosts for their hospitality and great stay. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience real Ella.

The place is immersed in nature, far from Ella’s city chaos. It’s about 1 km from the center, a 20‑minute walk that’s a bit tough but easy with a tuk‑tuk or motorbike. The room is clean, the bathroom has hot water. The staff are very familiar and helpful, assisting with arranging your stay and visits in Ella, and they offer extra services (tuk‑tuk, motorbike booking, laundry, etc.). Breakfast is very generous and includes local foods. The view is breathtaking.

The family is very kind, the meals and breakfasts are excellent, and the terrace is lovely for eating and relaxing. Scooter rental is available. The blanket was a bit too cold, though they added another one once we asked.
