“Bad room, good location”

The place sits in a great spot, has a nice bar, and the room was ready early. We realized we hadn’t paid for a decent room, yet it turned out to be the worst room we’d had during our two‑week Japan trip. The room was tiny, and we had to bring amenities from reception—strangely, that was the hotel bar—to our room. The shower was broken: the head was too powerful and only pointed one way. On top of that, there was an extra cleaning fee for the room, something I’d never heard of before.

This hotel is very well located, has a modern, hip vibe, and a fantastic rooftop bar. It’s close to streetcars that go to the train station, to Peace Park for history and culture, and within walking distance of Okonomiyaki restaurants. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, with a nice bathroom. Our room faced the street, overlooking the wide, tree‑lined boulevards of Hiroshima. The amenities in the room and in the foyer were great—I loved the electric kettle and ceramic teacups that were perfect for the coffee sachets we got from downstairs. Nothing negative.

“Feels and acts like a 5 star hotel! Exceptional!”

The hotel is fabulous: clean, stylish, with a great bathroom, an exceptional rooftop bar, and an outstanding restaurant on the ground floor. Nothing negative.
