It’s not far from downtown, parking is possible, and it’s ridiculously cheap—probably the only place like that. I stayed here on the last day in Reykjavik, and the single bed on the first floor gave me a very comfortable sleep.

The location is extremely advantageous. The cleaning staff moved my belongings, and my 15‑ml skincare serum disappeared.

Parking is available and the hotel sits right behind Halgim Ski Raka, a great spot. After a long flight I arrived around lunch and they let me check in early. The receptionist, a woman, was friendly and made me feel good. The bedding, kitchen, and bathroom are well maintained for the size of the place. The best part is the pool right next to the accommodation. The only downside is the three small bathrooms that have a slight odor.

Do not book here! I reserved a room at Baron’s Hostel but was given a B47 room, which is a different and downgraded one. The staff were rude and told me I could get a refund. They’re now claiming the landlord closed the place for maintenance. No one seems to be staying; they’ve shut down two floors and a few rooms on the second floor. They said they’d refund two nights, but I still haven’t received anything.

Une situation hyper centrale à Reykjavik, juste derrière la cathédrale. Du personnel asiatique qui ne parle pas mieux anglais que moi. Pas assez de sanitaires par rapport à la taille de l’auberge. J’imagine mal la période d’affluence. Ils incitent même à aller utiliser les installations de la piscine juste à côté
