The location and the fact of staying in a castle add a certain charm. The housekeeper, Mrs. Pauline, kept knocking on our room and invaded our privacy. The shower was awful, it simply didn’t produce water. They were inflexible about extending the check‑in time. To make matters worse, they left our bags on the reception, with no place to store them after check‑in.

“It’s a convenient location for a quick budget stay travel experience”

The location is convenient, close to the beachfront and to restaurants and bars. There was no hot water in the shower; the host replied to messages and tried to fix it but it wasn’t resolved during my stay. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage to the upper floors yourself. I suggest checking everything upon arrival to avoid the inconvenience of something not working during your stay.

I booked this place for my parents and siblings and they absolutely loved it; the pool was just outside with a slide for the kids, and they also had direct beach access, couldn’t have asked for more! The spot was very convenient, with the cinema, KFC, Pizza Hut, Tutti Frutti and other handy shops all within walking distance, making it a perfect spot for the whole family to enjoy Ocho Rios.
