Nine Arch Gap

The staff at Nine Arch Gap exceeded all expectations, making the whole experience excellent. Breakfast, included in the stay, was lovely, and they accommodated our early wake‑ups by serving breakfast whenever we wanted, always helpful and pleasant to chat with.

The rooms were great with a fantastic view, comfortable beds, a good shower, air‑conditioning, and a tasty breakfast each morning; the owners were also very friendly. Unfortunately, there was no lunch or dinner option and the food places were quite far; the accommodation sits on a hill that requires a short walk or drive on a rough path, which we tackled by tuk‑tuk and it was a bit tense, so the accessibility was not ideal.

“Beautiful views near Nine Arch Bridge with a great breakfast”

The room offered a beautiful mountain view and a great breakfast every morning; the host was kind and helped us arrange tuk‑tuks, taxis, and recommendations for Ella. The hotel is within walking distance of both Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adams Peak. The bedroom was lovely, well‑equipped, and had two very comfortable sofa seats overlooking the view. Overall, I would highly recommend it for a stay in Ella with great views and comfort. A little noisy building work was happening during the day. Because the hotel is high up, you need a tuk‑tuk or taxi to reach the town or the tea factory’s and temples, which isn’t bad but worth noting for future guests. We didn’t realize that only cash was accepted at check‑out, and there was no conditioner in the showers.

“Vue magnifique sur le pont.”

The view of Nine Arches Bridge is amazing, and the room rates are not very high; you just have to walk 5–10 minutes down from the hotel to reach the bridge.
