La Tavola Calda Hotel

“Distressing stay with unacceptable cleanliness. I left early and urge others to think carefully b4”

There was little to like about this stay. The only positive was that the booking provided somewhere to stay temporarily after my original accommodation reservation could not be honoured. The condition and cleanliness of the accommodation were unacceptable, particularly the heavily stained and soiled bed/mattress, alongside other issues that I documented with photographs and video. The experience was so disappointing that I left early, and I have had to pursue a complaint with seeking a full refund and appropriate compensation

“I had a pleasant stay!”

I really liked it! It’s cheap, and you get what you pay for. My room was clean and quiet, although they do play loud music downstairs on the weekends. It’s within walking distance of town, with plenty of shops nearby for snacks and hot food. I called the owner early in the morning, and he was absolutely lovely and very patient. Overall, a great stay for the price. The loud door slamming from other residents can also be a bit jarring. It’s next to a busy road, so traffic noise can sometimes be a bit much, but more often than not, it’s quiet
