The hosts were lovely and let us unwind in their home. Getting there was a bit awkward if you rely on sat nav; Rosa sent us directions that were much easier to follow. Using the kitchen was brilliant, and next time I’ll cook too. We didn’t use the pool, but we sat outside a lot during the day and evening, enjoying the many areas that made for a wonderfully relaxing stay. Near Cambrils, a lovely seaside place, we didn’t go this time, but it’s close. Near Reus, a charming town and Gaudí’s birthday place with lots of historic sights, we also didn’t visit. The house, in the middle of orange groves, is literally absolutely stunning—a family home with gorgeous and interesting furniture, pictures, and ornaments, a beautiful country villa in Spain. Breakfast was lovely: salmon and avocado on toast one morning, then scrambled eggs the next morning with toast, fruit, yoghurt, and other goodies—it felt more like a Catalonian breakfast than a standard Spanish one. Absolutely wonderful stay. The bugs, however, took a lot of antheman/blte cream.

“Fin de semana de relax”

The host was amazing. She prepared a very good breakfast and made us feel at home. A quiet spot away from the city where you can rest. Nothing else to add.

The garden was beautifully maintained, something we’d never seen before… everything was simply superb… thank you. It was all outstanding.
