I was disappointed that the elevator didn’t work during my stay.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast options were good, but the elevator was broken and my room was on the second floor. As an elderly guest I struggled with the stairs and no first‑floor room was offered; if that wasn’t possible, a discounted rate should have been given because the elevator is such an essential service. My room faced the stairwell, so I was kept awake all night by people going in and out, which was very loud!

The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast met all my expectations, and the room was clean and dark when the shade was drawn. The elevator was out of service during our stay, but they informed me beforehand. My main issue was the beds: while not terribly uncomfortable, they were definitely not the standard queen size advertised.
