The building is very cozy, historic, and conveniently located; it had a small kitchenette and everything we needed for a one‑night stay, and we liked everything so much we’d have loved to stay longer.

A fantastic stay at Shona; the room was very comfortable and had a small shared kitchen attached—everything was perfect!

The place is well situated, and Shona helped with dining suggestions and a good coffee spot. Having a washing machine and plenty of self‑catering facilities was handy, and the host spoke English. The bed was comfortable. Make sure you check which floor you’re on and maybe bring a lightweight overnight bag unless you’re okay carrying your suitcase up a flight or two of stairs. The vibe is very homely.

The lady was kind and it was easy to stay; the town center is close. The wooden spiral staircase was tough for older guests.
