We were told by the owner to tell them our arrival time, and we confirmed we’d get there around 6 PM. Yet when we arrived, nobody was at the property to greet us or handle check‑in. We had to deal with a difficult phone conversation, which felt very odd for a place marketed and booked as a hotel. No one was physically present, making us feel uncomfortable and poorly assisted. We eventually got into the room, but after seeing the accommodation and the overall situation in person, we decided we didn’t feel comfortable staying there and left. The experience was completely different from what we expected when booking.
