The place was very historic and fascinating because of its long history, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was nothing I didn't like about the property.

The location, design, and comfort were great, but the check‑in process didn't work as described and it was hard to find a place.

I loved the location, the staff were great, and the building was beautifully restored with highlights of the original construction, but I don't usually leave negative comments, yet the mattress wasn't great; breakfast on the first morning offered a choice of eggs and continental items, while on the second day the plate was loaded with eggs, tomatoes, ham, and cheese, and I don't know why there was such a difference—suffice to say the second breakfast was great!
