Quiet and clean, but too far from downtown; I couldn't walk to shops and eateries.

The building itself looks stunning, and our room offered a great view. The front desk staff were helpful and tried to assist us as best they could. Still, several maintenance and service problems made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been. The air conditioning was only average—set to 70 degrees, the room still felt warm. Live TV channels kept scrambling and freezing, so we resorted to a streaming service. The door had a noticeable gap, and shortly after checking in a large cricket was found in the foyer of our room. Dining was disappointing: my steak wasn’t cooked to the temperature I asked for and had to be remade. By the time the replacement was ready, the rest of my family had already finished dinner, so I had to take my steak to go. The restaurant removed it from the bill, which I appreciated, but it still marred the experience.

The hotel was clean, bright, and modern. The location was amazing—cool swimming with a view of the mesas—and the onsite breakfast was worth every penny.
