The place sits right in the heart of Manjimup, and there’s a pub next door if that’s your vibe, but that wasn’t ours so the location didn’t appeal to us. The room was tiny yet spotless, and despite the bathroom’s worn look and the shower’s condition, the bed turned out to be fairly comfy. The bathroom itself was clean but clearly aged. When we got in, the room was icy cold and we only had a modest bar heater to warm it up. It took the whole night for the chill to dissipate, yet we never actually froze and stayed warm throughout the night. The shower was a nightmare: the water was lukewarm at best, and worst of all it ran all night because we couldn’t shut the taps, which was a constant distraction.

If I had to choose, the location was OK. until the sports bar below cranked their crappy music until 10pm. Room #17 1. Constantly leaking shower 2. Mould, damaged flooring and slip hazard 3. Unsafe electrical cabling 4. Unsafe heater - falling apart 5. Balcony and window security Room #23 1. The bathroom basin is hanging away from the wall, barely attached by someones attempt to secure it. The BOOMING music from the sports bar below carried on until after 10pm. The rooms are old and in dire need of maintenance. If you expect worse than backpacker style accom then stay here

The food and drinks were good, but the hotel’s loud music from 8.30pm to 12.30am was so intense you could feel it through the bed—an unacceptable level of noise for paying guests. If you want a quiet stay, keep driving.
