2 twin beds
1 double bed
“Chambre très décevante.”
The manager is friendly and the location sits on a relatively quiet street in terms of traffic. It’s a 15‑minute walk from the port. The shower water was cold, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing, and water drips from the ceiling near the toilet. The bathroom wasn’t clean: the sink was dirty and there were hair in the shower. There’s major expansion work ongoing for several months, producing a lot of noise that makes it hard to rest. The alarm went off at 8 am on the first day. Even though the host tried not to do too much work early after I complained, the noise persisted—voices, moving chairs, all of it. I spent five nights exhausted and wanted to leave, but couldn’t find another place on site. I won’t return. It’s one of the worst accommodations I’ve experienced as a traveler.
Very centrally located yet still quiet. The bathroom was pretty musty and the shower dripped, leaving the floor perpetually wet.
“Logement bon mais attention à vous”
A small, pleasant guesthouse on the island. The value, quality, and location are good, but watch out for some staff. One of the cleaning staff tried to kiss me after we chatted for a moment, insisting despite my refusal and arguing that “my boyfriend isn’t here, so it’s like I don’t have one.” If you’re a woman, be wary of this place.
The location is strategic. The service was awful; I had booked a room two days in advance with the same room type on a different account, confirmed, but when I arrived the staff took my belongings out and kicked me out.
Friendly host, central location. The place is very noisy because the hosts sing karaoke almost every evening until late, and the mosque is directly across the street, so it’s loud. It might help if the host provided earplugs.
