The location was ideal, the value for money was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The Wi‑Fi was weak, the room was quite small, and the corridor offered poor soundproofing.

The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room key didn’t work when we came back early, and there was no simple way to get assistance; fortunately a staff member spotted our trouble on CCTV and helped us out.

The hotel is in a spot that suits me well – close to the city centre – and the breakfast was adequate, though I personally miss any vegetables. The bed was comfortable, and the receptionist was very pleasant. The air‑conditioning was noisy every 3 minutes, whether on or off, and I didn’t sleep well the first night; the staff fixed it later and it was fine. Various smells drifted from the street, probably typical of old buildings. The room was tiny.
