The room was good, and I liked that it was different from the standard one. The staff were super friendly! From the pool you can see a nice view of Table Mountain. I didn’t find the location very central, even though it’s close to the nightlife, Breestreet and Longstreet; you have to take a taxi to reach the waterfront.

The location was perfect and the pool was nice. The only downside was that coffee wasn’t included with breakfast.

The hostel’s lively atmosphere lets you chat with South Africans and other guests, and its proximity to Kloof Street and the Bokaap district, plus the view of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head, make it feel safe and welcoming. My family and I felt very comfortable there. We parked our rental car securely on the adjacent lot, and Viva con agua supported us during our stay.

Breakfast was delicious, the shower was perfect, and I made good friends. I like everything except the price, but it’s worth it.
