I stayed in a large, comfortable room at an impressive hotel, but on one of the days we were away from 9 am to 5 pm, the room wasn’t cleaned or tidied. They also only offered liquid soap; a bar soap would have been nice. The breakfast spread stayed the same every day, so the croissants and other pastries often burned, and that happened each morning. On all three nights the Wi‑Fi was completely unusable.

The hotel looked stylish and the staff were great, but the housekeeping fell short: the curtains were dirty, the sheets seemed unwashed and I ended up scratching. Water seemed rationed because the shower pressure was weak, almost dripping, ruining what should have been a relaxing bath.

The place feels like a grimy, outdated dive that pretends to be a five‑star hotel, and I wouldn’t even recommend it to my worst enemy. It desperately needs a full‑scale renovation before it can be considered acceptable. I hated everything about it. In the first room I was swarmed by mosquitoes attracted to a rotten piece of fruit. After demanding a change I got a second room where the toilet still had feces left behind, the towels were stained with dried blood and I woke up with more than twenty bites on the same leg. On top of that the air reeked of 90s‑era after‑party tobacco, with the smell even stronger coming from the ventilation ducts. I asked for a third room (obviously) and they seemed to have tried a little harder with the cleaning, but nothing special happened during my stay or afterward to make up for the nightmare we endured, so whatever rating shows up on the site, for me it feels like a minus‑10. The only redeeming thing was that the staff were generally friendly.

The tennis court is actually not part of the hotel; it’s rented by a gym’s teachers and there are no free times for guests. Don’t count on it when choosing the hotel.
