The place has a fantastic spot and a nice pool, and there were no issues at all.

The spot is spot-on, within walking distance of the waterfront, museums, and restaurants; the lodge’s design is unique and I enjoyed its vibe, plus the pool is lovely and the breakfast each morning is simple but nice. However, the walls are thin, and despite the 10pm‑8am quiet notice, some guests were still noisy.

The location is top and the pool is clean, but the room walls are very thin so the main road noise is audible, and the breakfast is very basic so I ate out instead.

The location was great, close to the waterfront, and there were plenty of nice places to eat nearby. The historic building had a musty, mouldy smell on the bedding, cushions, and pillows. Noise travels between rooms, even between quiet guests just moving gently or using the bathroom at night and opening doors.
