The renovated room was spacious with a very comfortable king‑size bed, a bar fridge, a coffee machine, and a large smart TV; it sits right in the middle of town, next to the ex‑services club for cafés or restaurants, and the lift gives easy access to the upper floor with EV charge points available. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, and after several stays I’ll definitely return. Just note that overflow parking is in the ex‑services club, a short walk away, and during warmer months the club’s open‑air bistro can get a bit noisy if your room is closest to the club.
