Every part of the hotel feels very clean and cozy, and the room is a comfortable size. The staff are polite, helpful, and hospitable. Breakfast and dinner are delicious, with 100% taste and presentation, feeling very personal and homey. I would definitely book this hotel again when visiting Hakuba and recommend it to friends and family.

Overall, I was very satisfied.

The host was a gentleman who spoke English, and the house is all‑wood, really giving the feel of living in a Western country. There’s a large green outdoor area and parking is convenient. Inside, the windows offer views of the distant White Horse Mountain Range and the Olympic‑era ski slopes, which look great. We stayed two nights and the meals were different each time, all tasty, with diverse local ingredients that were healthy and delicious. Because it’s a three‑story wooden building without an elevator, the staff—mostly just this couple—were few, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs. The inn is low‑key; it was already dark around 5 pm, yet we still spent a while looking for it.

The food was very tasty. Overall, maintenance seemed lacking, especially the open‑air bath, which felt dangerous; floor boards and pillars were rotting and the floor board fasteners were loose. The bath‑related amenities appeared to be insufficient.

Everything was great—breakfast and dinner were delicious. The location is a 5‑minute walk to the bus terminal and Lawson. The hotel has an onsen, and the window view is stunning with Hakuba Peak visible. There are several relaxing corners with sofas for reading. I recommend this hotel for a stay in Hakuba.
