Guest rooms have microwaves, fridges, and tea/coffee makers. Transfer Beach, with Gulf Islands views, is a 2-minute walk away, with nearby kayaking, hiking, and nature watching opportunities.

The location was convenient for walking downtown, but the hotel sat next to the highway. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, the toilet seat in the bathroom was loose, and the tub wasn’t properly caulked. The bathroom was very small and had dirt in the corners. The price was listed as 170.00, but with add‑ons they quoted 263.00, and when we checked out the bill was 321.68. A tip of 23.83 was added without our consent, and we couldn’t get a clear breakdown of all charges.

The place is in a great spot, the owners are friendly, and the beds are comfy, but the highway nearby can be a bit noisy.

Being on the edge of the highway made it impossible to sleep because of the traffic noise!
