The welcome was fantastic, the food superb, the hosts kind and available, and you could even learn about old trades and dress in traditional Maramureș garments. Thanks for a few days in this little paradise; I highly recommend it.

The owner was very friendly and approachable, the rooms were clean, well-kept, and stylishly decorated, and outside there was a nice gazebo to sit under. Breakfast was delicious and filling for 40 Ron, absolutely recommended. The shower was a bit neglected, water dripped from the side of the shower head, and later water leaked from somewhere below the basin.

I could use the family’s bicycles for free, which was a great way to explore nearby villages. The drivers were courteous and left plenty of space for cyclists. The shared kitchen was very handy and well equipped, and the owner supplied a lot of useful information. I couldn’t drink tap water, but free drinking water was provided.
