The pousada was literally on the beach. The breakfast was very good. The photos show all the pools as usable, but none are actually available because they’re under maintenance or renovation; the main pool was unusable.

The location was excellent and there’s a pool for those who don’t want to go to the sea. The staff were polite and the resort was flexible—when I had a family issue they adjusted my rate. The resort offers many amenities: a hammock, heated pool, hot tub, game room, and sun‑shaded tables. Breakfast had good options and the minibar was decent. I didn’t like that the pools and other facilities only opened at 10:00 am, which left guests stuck. I wanted to wake up and swim but couldn’t, so I had to wait and the pool got sidelined. The same applied to the hammock and other amenities. If the on‑site restaurant were cheaper, it would justify coming back from the beach to eat there, but it’s quite salty. The pillows were very soft, which caused discomfort and left me with aches. The resort only provides a microwave in the communal kitchen; I missed a small stove for a quick noodle meal.

The location and people were great—everything I liked. I’ve always enjoyed the pousada’s accommodations, but I had never stayed in the rooms on this side near the reception. They weren’t comfortable or in line with what I usually stay in. Overall, though, it’s the place I most like when I go to Indaia.

I liked the feijoada served at dinner, which was included in the bill; the staff were attentive and polite. The breakfast was disappointing—very simple, the bread wasn’t fresh, the juice was watered down, there were no options, and nothing was offered to fix it. It left a lot to be desired and needs improvement.

Everything was amazing! The only gripe was the lack of a floor mop and sponge in the bathroom—hilarious.
