Ian was a great host, friendly and welcoming. We had a great breakfast to start the day. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Our room felt a bit small, and there was nowhere to leave tea or coffee making facilities during our stay. There was no fridge. We noticed the shower leaked a little, and we told Ian, who was helpful and agreed to have it looked at. A shelf in the shower cubicle for toiletries would be nice.

The hotel’s central location was a plus, but I had to leave early because of a medical emergency; they offered to waive the fees, yet the owner refused to cooperate or give a partial refund for the nights we missed. Cleanliness was very poor—hairs in the bed, a dirty carpet, a stained toilet outside, mould in the shower, and the worst part was that the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests.

Everything was beautiful: the tech, the location, the friendliness, and they even let us leave our car parked when we arrived early, which was very helpful.
