The place sits right in the heart of the city, so a car isn’t needed for anything. The bed was super comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful. I still wish it lived up to the four‑star label they advertise: the room felt cramped, my extra towel request was ignored, and the noise level was high—if you’re sensitive to sound, bring earplugs.

The hotel is clean, new, and quiet, and the staff are quite friendly. However, they charged me incorrectly and had to add a correction to the bill. The breakfast, which was supposed to start at 4:30 am, was only half open at 6:30 am, and dinner opened two hours later than scheduled.

The hotel is on the main avenue, a five‑minute walk from Plaza de Armas and the Convento de Sto Domingo, and almost everything is within walking distance. The staff are very pleasant and always attentive, and the breakfast is reasonably good. Occasionally there was a lot of internal noise in the lobby from guests leaving early on excursions, which disturbed my sleep with sounds from 4/5 am onward; I mentioned this to reception.

The location is extremely central, ideal for a stay in Cusco. This is a big advantage, especially considering how altitude can make moving around more challenging, particularly in the first few days. The breakfast is excellent.

I was picked up at night for a hike. I told the hotel that my girlfriend would check out in the morning. When I left, a man from the hotel came in at 1:30 am and opened the door to my room while my girlfriend was alone inside; he didn’t knock. The hotel was also very noisy at night, with loud conversations in the hallways.
