“Beautiful country house in a quiet location just outside the old town.”

Absolutely beautiful house that has been divided up into 4 or 5 spacious rooms with en suite bathrooms. It’s about 20 minutes walk into the old town of Urbino and the house is very tranquil with views across the countryside and the old town. Alexandra is a fantastic host (and speaks perfect English which was a real bonus for us) and provides a very generous breakfast outside on the terrace (weather permitting)

“Se torno a Urbino torno a Ca' Lavalle”

The location might look “inconvenient,” but once you’re there you’ll realize that the 300 meters from Urbino’s center on the opposite hill is a joke. A short walk down brings you into the city of Raffaello, which you can enjoy fully, and the way back is the same. If you’re lazy, just take your car and you’re in Urbino in an instant. Alessandra is extremely kind and helpful, and the building perched on the hilltop is spectacular both inside and out—sitting in the garden to watch Urbino at sunset or sunrise while having breakfast. Highly recommended.
