They told me it was Sorano, but then assigned me a room at Kwan Hanwa Resort – does that even make sense? Separate the information from the start and give it a different name. This is a scam.

The remodeling of the main building, including the air conditioning, was great. It’s not really old, it just shows the passage of time… The price is cheap, and the efficient AC system keeps things comfortable. The Korean restaurant is tasty, clean, and pleasant. The underground entertainment facilities are excellent. Having to do the recycling myself was a bit unusual, haha.

The resort needs to clearly separate Sorano from the annex; I was booked into the annex and felt the price was unreasonable, leaving me with a sense of being ripped off.

The shuttle bus was always available for transfers and the staff were friendly. The annex building and rooms were very old, lacking proper facilities, so we always went to the main building to let our kids play in the late evening.

I was completely cheated; although “Hanwha Resort Seorak Annex” is a lower‑grade, separate property from “Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano” (even the official site lists them apart), they sold my room under the Sorano name, and I can’t tell whether the booking site or the resort is at fault.
