Everything was incredibly clean. I was surprised by how detailed the pet‑accommodation requirements were.

Being allowed to stay with my pet was a huge relief, since almost no hotels in Utsunomiya welcome animals; however, the amount of back‑and‑forth communication before and after the stay was a bit taxing, though the staff handled everything very politely and the legal requirements were unavoidable.

The location was excellent, yet despite advertising pet‑friendly rooms, they kept a cage at the door and forbade bringing the dog inside, also charging a pet fee while prohibiting the animal in the room; on the second floor I used, windows could not be opened, TV volume had to stay below 15, and numerous signs warned about noise, so I constantly worried about the neighbors and the floor below, leaving me unable to unwind at all.
