The rooms were beautifully furnished, and the staff were very friendly. We slept very well. The place needs more dusting, the shower was broken – the hose was torn, the glass was damaged, creating a gap, and water leaked while showering. Because the shower itself is large, it was still usable.

We already knew the pension and were aware of its many original surprises. Each room is decorated differently, which is fun. The location is also perfect, right in the center. Unfortunately, breakfast is no longer offered – even though the website still says it can be added at check‑in. That was disappointing, because breakfast at Picco Bello used to be a highlight! The bathroom door squeaks terribly; if someone needs it at night, it definitely wakes the companion. That needs to be oiled urgently. In the morning, the shower had no hot water, so we only managed a brief 25 °C wash. Moreover, no staff was present to address the issue.

The location was ideal for our visit and the kitchen was fully equipped. It used to be a great pension, but now only a shadow remains. It seems to offer breakfast, yet the apples have seen better days. Cables hang from the walls, the shower is a small design flaw. Overall, it feels as though the charm was lost with a change of ownership. Too bad, but maybe it will recover. Until then we’ll wait for other guests’ reviews before staying again.

The location is a real plus. The courtyard is nicely made. Check‑in was a bit rough, but the staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast unfortunately didn’t work out, though that wasn’t the pension’s fault. A bakery is just down the street. The rooms were perfectly adequate for two nights, but with the high‑tech shower I needed a while to get the water at the right temperature from the correct jets.
