The hotel was very calm, perfect for relaxing. You can walk straight to the Laguna across the street for swimming and kayaking. The staff were friendly and the food at the hotel restaurant was good. I’d recommend it!

The property is incredibly cute, with little aesthetic touches like pillows and art that make it even more relaxing than the photos show. I loved the terraced backyard, patio tables right on the lake, hammocks, and the greenery that lets you hear the lake’s waves outside. The rooms fit the boutique vibe. The restaurant offered amazing options, including vegetarian, and the staff were super helpful and friendly in both Spanish and English. Wi‑Fi was excellent, allowing me to do full Zoom calls without any hiccups. I ended up booking a second stay later that same week! The downside is its remoteness—taxis are required, which is probably true for any lakefront spot. I arranged taxis and tours through the hotel and stopped for snacks on the way, but you can’t walk to anything. Luckily, the on‑site restaurant is great! They also provide nice shampoo and body wash, but no conditioner, so bring your own.

The surroundings are gorgeous, with private lake access and free kayaking and floats. The restaurant is excellent and the food is delicious. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I even spotted howling monkeys in the tree canopies. If I came back, I’d definitely stay again. Everything was just fine.

The location is excellent, the food is good, and the staff are friendly. The tiramisu was incredible—you have to try it! I stayed in three different rooms, and the last one, called Granada, was definitely the best. I didn’t like the other two: the first had no window, and the other was supposed to be a fancy room but ended up in the basement with a lot of noise from above. I really enjoy the “exclusive boutique hotel” vibe here. The larger hotels nearby felt more like big resorts with loud music and a busier atmosphere. I’d love to come back in a different season—August was way too hot for me! The rooms had no windows and were in the basement.
