De locatie was top, vlak bij centraal station. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prijs sloeg nergens op. The Megaro profileert zichzelf als een 5 sterren hotel. Ze vragen hier dus ook de hoofdprijs. In werkelijkheid was het eerder een richting een 3 sterrenhotel met een flinke premium voor de locatie. Het ontbijt was voor 25 pond per persoon uiterst karig, vlees- en kaaswaren lagen ongekoeld op het buffet, komkommer lag er al vanaf 0700 en was inmiddels uitgedroogd en de koffie was niet de drinken

It’s clean and close to Kings Cross train station, breakfast was nice and the waitstaff were friendly, but the room was tiny and the window did nothing to muffle outside noise. The loudest sound came from the hotel flag flapping loudly all night. I’ve stayed here before and the room was much larger, nicer, and quieter. The layout was cramped and would have been better without stuffing it full of steampunk décor.

The room was great, with robes, free minibar items, a comfy bed, and friendly staff, all quiet even though it’s right across from Kings Cross. Nothing negative – everything was perfect.
