The first thing that hit me was the unsettling art display—headless dolls, severed legs in baskets, distorted faces in photos—hard to forget. Breakfast was just a few cheese slices and cold cuts, and the owner seemed a bit brusque. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and the location is quiet yet close to the city center—perfect for a weekend. The only downside was the very narrow, steep stairs to the room and the free parking being a bit inconvenient.

The house and room have a distinct charm that feels like stepping into a film, and host Marjane is sweet and full of tips. It's a 10‑15 minute walk to the center, quiet and away from crowds, and you can park for free at the other canal—otherwise it's 18€ for four hours. The only annoyance is the bike tourists, but that's unrelated to the stay.
