It was 4 °C outside, but we got warm in the boat because it was pre‑heated. The diesel heater works great in winter. We loved the harbor view. Bring your own toilet paper and dishwashing tablets—there was only one roll. There’s a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso cup device. The beds are on the soft side, we found them comfortable. An oven and microwave are available. Communication is via WhatsApp with the manager, who replies quickly and is very friendly and helpful. After booking you get his 06 number. You text him 30 minutes before arrival and he picks you up at the boat. Parking is right on the quay in front of the door, see photo. The boat is less accessible for people with reduced mobility because it doesn’t stay fixed to the pier; you must cross a long, narrow dock without handholds and then cross about 35 cm of water to get on the boat, see photo. Strong wind makes this even harder. My 87‑year‑old mother managed with our help, but it was scary. All three of us found the bedding had a strong perfume smell; I even felt a little stuffy. We couldn’t find TV channels, only a Google Chromecast. With strong wind the boat rocks a lot and makes noise because it keeps hitting the side. Earplugs are recommended at night.
