The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, and nearby tasty izakayas were a bonus, though the shared bath was crowded.

The tatami room was dirty and smelled bad, the futon was missing, and even though I took a morning bath it was cold; the ventilation window stayed open, making it chilly.

The bath was excellent and the staff were very friendly; it would have been better if the TV were positioned more centrally in the room and a chair had been provided for extra relaxation, and while breakfast was fine, having a microwave would let me heat food and boost satisfaction.
