The base is perfect! The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious. The owners are super friendly, open, and helpful – they radiate such warmth that you instantly feel like you’re at your favorite aunt’s vacation home. Plus, they built a real “chill zone” in a separate building, complete with a kitchen, radio, and board games, so when the rain starts, you can swap a fight for healthy board‑game competition. Everything is maintained as if the health inspector were dropping by daily for a white‑glove test. Breakfasts are so good that it’s hard to get moving on the trail, but once you gather yourself, the location as a launchpad is a perfect score. A small warning for drivers: the last stretch of the drive is a bit narrow, but it’s just a short segment and there’s a safe parking spot waiting. After you park and the excitement settles, the owners let you grab a cold water, drinks, or even a local beer for the ideal end of the day. I recommend it with a clear conscience; I’ll definitely return! 🍻
