The location was great, close to public transport. At first we were not welcomed well because the staff didn’t understand us, but after that everything went very smoothly!!!

The place is well situated and you can keep groceries in the fridge, plus you’re allowed to drop off luggage after checkout. The rooms, however, don’t ventilate well, the sheets are changed whenever someone leaves but the toilet and shower in the same room are never cleaned. There’s no free coffee, and if you buy it, it’s like half a coffee or half a cappuccino.

Very Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Money I paid over €300 for four nights at Xplore Hostel Amsterdam, and honestly, the experience was nowhere near worth the price. The quality of the rooms and beds was disappointing, and the facilities were very limited. The kitchen facilities were particularly inadequate, and overall, the hostel does not offer the level of comfort or convenience you would expect for the amount charged. For such an expensive stay, the value for money is extremely poor. On top of that, the customer service at reception was disappointing. The receptionist I encountered was rude, unhelpful, and unresponsive, making the experience even more frustrating. Guests should be welcomed with basic courtesy and receive proper assistance when they need it. For the price they charge, the hostel seriously needs to improve its room quality, beds, kitchen facilities, and customer service. The management should also pay more attention to staff professionalism and guest satisfaction. Overall, I would not recommend this hostel at its current price. Paying over €300 for four nights should get you a much better experience than this. Very poor value for money, and I would not choose to stay here again
