The location was great—about a 500 m walk to the pyramids from the Sphinx gate. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place looked a bit run down but, for the price, it was excellent. I sat on the terrace and stared at the pyramids. My only gripe was that breakfast offered only omelette or boiled eggs; a few cereals would have been nice given Egypt’s international visitors.

The location and the views were incredible, and the staff were super friendly. I had an issue with the air conditioning on the first night, but they resolved it, moved me to another room, and everything worked out fine.
The rooftop terrace, complete with a relaxation zone, pool, and restaurant, was amazing, and every evening you could dine while watching the sunset over the pyramids – the view was enchanting. The staff were exceptionally friendly, kind, and helpful; no one asked for tips on their own, and when we did give one, it brought a lot of joy. The streets of Giza, though a stark contrast to the hotel, are full of trash, chaos, and a post‑apocalyptic feel, yet they are safe and guarded by security. We went to get a Vodafone SIM card, only 15 minutes from the hotel, and everything went smoothly. Around the hotel there are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants, such as KFC, and just a minute away is Banque Misr where you can easily exchange money during business hours. If you plan to visit the Pyramids and the Giza Solar Museum, the location is ideal. In the shower, water drained poorly and sometimes there was a sewage smell coming through the pipes; overall the room was average, but compared to the streets of Giza and the living conditions there, these are minor issues, and the room can be considered very nice.
