“満足です!”
The owner was very friendly and chatted a lot; receiving messages from them even before booking gave me peace of mind. They did announce everything beforehand, but the road to the place is narrow, so be careful.

My fiancé and I snagged a private room surrounded by rice paddies and quiet, and we even got to enjoy waffle breakfasts. The only downside was that our room sat right above the lobby/café, so we could hear other guests chatting if they were still awake, but a noise machine handled it fine.

The atmosphere was very warm and friendly, and we had a great time with everyone, especially enjoying the delicious curry. Beer lovers will also find a good selection of local brews. Walking in is a bit off‑center, but at least it’s very quiet.

At Aki‑san’s place you can experience a family‑like rural vibe :) If you want to escape the city bustle and explore the Akiyoshido Cave (30 min away) or sleep on a futon, this is the spot! It’s a guesthouse where dinner is shared and delicious in the evenings. Even if you don’t speak Japanese, Aki‑san and the other guests make an effort to ensure you have a nice evening. We came without a car and Aki‑san’s mother generously drove us to the station—thanks again :) In the town of Mine it’s easier to get there by car.

The place was clean and the host was pleasant. It was overcrowded and overbooked, with drunk and loud guests, and it felt expensive for what it offered. One toilet for eight male strangers and a single shower. I’ve stayed in farmhouse‑style accommodation in Japan before, and this ranks among the worst. If there were fewer people, it could be quite pleasant.
