The staff were lovely, but the payment process was very confusing; we were told to pay an extra tourist tax on top of the official tax we’d already paid at the airport. The local music is extremely loud on weekends, and the hotel sits on the part of the beach where most of that noise comes from. There was also a fair amount of trash on the beach, though that’s a local issue, not the hotel’s fault, reflecting the difficulty of managing the growing number of tourists in such an ecologically vulnerable area.

The location is excellent, the staff are incredible, always ready to help and very kind people, and the food is delicious.

“Precio abusivo para lo que ofrece.”

The staff are very attentive and a charming family, but the price feels abusive. You pay a lot for the night for poorly maintained facilities. It’s clear the money isn’t being invested in improving the rooms. There’s only one light in the room, a lack of privacy and security in the door lock, barely enough space to store your stuff, and no curtain, which makes showering in a place like Nuqui difficult. We wouldn’t consider this excessive if the price matched what’s offered.

“Muy buena experiencia”

The inn is great for backpackers, as the quality/price ratio is the best in the area. Doña Moringa’s food is very good. They’re always attentive, always friendly, and the location is convenient for several beaches. A tip for good whale watching: contact Doña Moringa’s son.

“Super séjour”

The reception was very warm and the owner wants guests to feel at home; the restaurant food is very good. A more regular cleaning of the shared toilets would have been nice.
