“Nice location”

The remote desert spot and the large tent were positives, but there was no hot water in the shower and the camp was inaccessible because the river flooded; although it wasn’t our fault, we were charged OMR 20 to be guided to and from the camp.

“Emozionante”

The tents were huge and spacious, the small field was in a great spot, our driver Salim was perfect, the dinner was high quality, but we missed a desert tea under the stars and an outdoor fire; the average breakfast could have been better. The owner’s hasty approach, demanding cash in a brutal way without grace, and insisting we wake up super early for breakfast while we were on vacation made the breakfast feel like nothing I expected.

“Beautiful sand dunes and campsite … finished off with great food and fantastic hosts”

The team was friendly, the tents were beautiful, the location was isolated, and the food was great, but we were the only ones there.

The camp was beautifully maintained in a superb location, quiet and lovely, with excellent food and friendly staff, yet extra activities were touted as very active, and complaining at a very high level: the vibe was a bit lacking because we were alone; a bit of a program like a campfire with interesting conversations would have been nice.

“Merveilleuse étape et belles rencontres avec le sentiment d'être seuls au milieu du désert”

Hôte aux petits soins, sens de l'accueil, emplacement du camp, propreté des lieux, qualité de la restauration. Pas d'eau chaude mais c'est un détail et. elle n'est pas froide non plus vu les températures dans le désert !
