The Wild West‑styled buildings were quirky, and we stayed at the Lands Office. The darkness let us see the stars, though my 4‑bed room lacked a light. The TV had to be started on the side of the screen; it worked but had no sound until I hit the remote’s on/off switch.

The location was amazing, with great fire pits and a lovely sunset; the staff were friendly and understood the long‑weekend traffic, juggling late arrivals, and the gardens were well kept outdoors. Inside the cabin was a bit dusty and could use a good spring clean, and a screen on the front door would have kept moths out.

The rustic cabin was lovely, in a great spot in nature with a beautiful view, and it met all our needs for a stop on the Waterfall Way; I’d stay there again. A few minor repairs were needed, but overall it was a perfect overnight stop.

The location offered lovely countryside views, but the cabins need upgrading; they’re very dark inside because of wooden ply walls.
