The views and the staff were great; the owners were very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was super complete, and the rooms were clean and spacious. One room didn’t have air conditioning and we couldn’t open the windows because of the mosquitoes, but there was a fan.

The lovely older owners lived in a beautiful manor. The room was good and the terrace offered a view over the city. Tequila and I stayed for a week and felt a bit like family. Tequila gave the house lady another afternoon break. They helped with everything else. We knew beforehand that the house is at the end of a steep uphill road, so the arrival could be a bit sweaty (or a tuk‑tuk).

The house was beautiful with stunning views over Kandy. I appreciated the small kitchen area with fridge, and extra crockery and utensils were provided on request. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The hosts were very welcoming and lovely to chat with. We originally booked one night but stayed two. The path down to the center of Kandy was rather steep, but a tuk‑tuk could easily take you back up the hill. The spiral staircase to the upper floor might be a bit awkward for some.

The place is far from the chaos of Kandy, but walking there requires a steep uphill path that even the tuk‑tuk driver struggled with. The price‑to‑quality ratio is decent, the room has all the basics, and the gentleman who welcomed us was very kind. The breakfast cost as much as the room.
