I liked the little balcony overlooking the square and the huge church; breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly, but there was no hot water for showering. For two or three days the stretched-out sofa had to serve as a bed for a third person and it creaked loudly. Walking to Gozo’s center (Victoria) takes about half an hour, the bus ride is only 10 minutes but costs 2.5 EURO per person.

We adored staying here, great value for money. It’s well situated on the neighborhood square, next to a restaurant, very safe and always bustling. There are several eateries around for meals. The room was full.

They changed towels daily, cleaned, and for the first two days brought various treats. The air‑conditioner hangs directly across from the bed, making it uncomfortable to sleep because of the cold air; even raising the temperature doesn’t solve the issue. We arrived at 20:00 and no one was there to meet us; we didn’t know where to go for the apartment keys. Calling the listed number was impossible. Thanks to the restaurant waiter who helped us check‑in.
