The Thai Modern Resort & Spa is a cluster of bungalows set in a lovely garden; the apartment is spacious, quiet, and the bed is comfortable, though the A/C makes a bit of noise. There’s also a terrace for relaxing, and the staff are very polite, as is typical in SE Asia. The location is far from everything else, which is fine for peace and quiet but means you’ll need transport; finding a taxi willing to take you there is difficult, so we rented our own car.

The staff are exceptional, attending to you daily with room cleaning, free water, and any assistance, always smiling. The location is perfect for escaping city chaos and enjoying nature; everything is a 15–20 minute drive away. Nothing to complain about.
